Assessment Services - Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation & Career Planning

General Overview

Southeastern Vocational Services provides both comprehensive vocational evaluation and vocational counseling. Our vocational evaluations focus on specific work functions performed in real or simulated settings to measure a person's potential for competitive or non-competitive employment or job retraining. Also considered are medical, psychological, social, cultural and economic data. Vocational evaluations are conducted at our Pensacola office or at outlying facilities when requested.

Vocational counseling helps people develop realistic, attainable employment goals through discussion and guidance. Using information gathered from assessment processes, vocational counseling can enhance an individual's understanding of his or her strengths, interests, values and needs. Additionally, counseling also can lead an individual to a better understanding of the availability, requirements, strengths and limitations of specific jobs or careers.
